By chance, a kind-hearted boy named Kaito (voiced by Mutsuki Tamura), who has a somewhat timid personality, encounters a peculiar girl with cat ears and a cat tail. The girl, who calls herself Alice (voiced by Kanae Ito), has come to Earth to connect with the Japanese government, but her innocent and cute exterior hides a somewhat scatterbrained character, causing her to spend most of her time playing instead. A certain evil mysterious organization has launched an attack on Alice, and Kaito takes on the responsibility of protecting her. Although Alice herself possesses strong combat abilities and is protected by a mechanical cat, with the help of his childhood friend Manami Kintama (voiced by Haruka Tomatsu) and classmate Aoi Futaba (voiced by Kana Hanazawa), Kaito repeatedly saves Alice from peril.
