At Inata High School, the Literature Club is home to a group of diverse young men and women. Among them, second-year high school student Ando Jirai (voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto) is a typical case of "chuunibyou," dreaming every day of having superpowers to save the world. To his surprise, his unrealistic wish actually comes true. One day without warning, Ando gains the ability of "Black Flame," while other members have their unique strengths, such as the hidden宅女 Kanesaki Togiyo (voiced by Haruka Yamazaki) who can manipulate time, the natural girl Kijikawa Juko (voiced by Saori Hayami) who controls nature, the fujoshi club president Takanashi Ayumi (voiced by Risa Taneda) who can restore anything, and the literature club advisor’s niece Himeki Chifuyu (voiced by Nanami Yamashita) who can freely create matter and space.
