The story takes place at Nanamori Middle School, where the tea ceremony club faces the tragic fate of disbandment due to its lack of popularity. Four girls occupy the club's activity room: the innocent and blissfully ignorant Akaza Akari (voiced by Mitsuishi Kotono), the cheerful and enthusiastic runaway girl Tooyama Kinuko (voiced by Ootsubo Yuka), the quiet but sarcastic Funami Yui (voiced by Tsuda Minami), and the seemingly cute yet incredibly manipulative Yoshikawa Chinatsu (voiced by Ookubo Rumi). They decide to set up an entertainment club from scratch. Thus, the story begins. The existence of the entertainment club surprisingly attracts the attention of the student council, with the mysterious president Matsumoto Ryou (voiced by Gotou Saori) and the tsundere vice president Sugiura Ayano (voiced by Fujita Saki) adding an extra layer of joy to the already lively club life.
