The story takes place in Class 7 of the first grade at Amano Yuki Academy, a very special class gathering unfortunate girls burdened with "negative destinies." Among them is Hana Koizumi An, who has never experienced good luck but remains hopeful about life (voiced by Yumiri Hanamori), Ruri Hibari, who is hopelessly in love with no prospect of reciprocation (voiced by Haruka Shiraishi), Botan Kume-kawa, who is frail and often bedridden (voiced by Kisenou Anno), Kyoka Hagiue, a major klutz who is always getting lost (voiced by Hibiku Yamamura), and Ren Egota, who is constantly troubled by the hormones that attract female creatures (voiced by Mayu Yoshioka).
