Yoshiharu Tsuda (played by Shin'ya Tsukamoto) is a salesman at an insurance company, living a tense and dull life filled with hard work and compromise. One day on his way home, he encounters his high school classmate Takushi Kojima (played by Koji Tsukamoto). Due to a hidden past, Yoshiharu intentionally distances himself from this annoying classmate; however, Takushi intrudes into his life and even teases Yoshiharu's girlfriend (played by Kaho Fujii). Yoshiharu, infuriated and embarrassed, confronts him, only to be beaten up by Takushi, who has a boxing background. From that moment on, the lives of Takushi, Yoshiharu, and his girlfriend undergo significant changes... This film won the Special Honorary Award at the 1996 Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival and the Best Newcomer Award at the 1996 Japanese Film Bulletin (Koji Tsukamoto).
