The head of the drug enforcement team, Qiu Suo, captured the local drug dealer (who is also his childhood friend) Zhang Biao. During the interrogation, due to a family emergency, the wealthy intern police officer Ge Shuai was momentarily negligent, allowing the suspect to escape. Driven by guilt and self-blame, Qiu Suo and Ge Shuai set out again to find Zhang Biao, while the cunning Zhang Biao continuously seeks opportunities to escape. Journeying from the southwest to the northwest, from urban areas to borders, facing harsh living conditions in the desolate snow-covered plateau, the master and disciple work together, ultimately at the expense of Ge Shuai’s sacrifice, Qiu Suo finally captures the drug dealer in the glacier mountains at an altitude of over 4,000 meters. He not only retrieves what was lost but also restores the dignity of the drug enforcement officers.
