With musical talent and exceptional gifts, Wu Peishan (played by Wu Mochou) reluctantly applies for business management against the strong opposition of her brother (played by Hua Shao). The upcoming music festival is the best stage for Wu Peishan to realize her musical dreams and to allow her brother to see her in a new light... Li Ziyang (played by Li Daimo), who shares a passion for music, is a grassroots musician working in a bar. Wu Peishan accidentally meets Li Ziyang and discovers the hidden vocal talent that he has kept to himself. Wu Peishan hopes to help Li Ziyang showcase his talent, but instead of accepting her help, Li Ziyang grows more distant from her, which makes the naturally cheerful Wu Peishan even more curious to uncover the reason... As the music festival approaches, Li Ziyang's emotional struggles slowly begin to clear with the help of Wu Peishan, Ding Piaoping (played by Ding Ding), Zhang Le (played by Zhang Wei), Liu Yichen (played by Dashan), Wang Wei (played by Wang Ke), and Zhao Anna (played by Zhao Lu). Just when Wu Peishan, Li Ziyang, and others are gearing up to shine at the music festival, her brother's sudden appearance brings Wu Peishan's efforts to a freezing point... The dean of the music academy (played by Wang Feng) pays special attention to Wu Peishan, the girl from the business management major, as she reminds him of his own youthful passion for music...
