The movie tells the story of a graphic designer in her early thirties, Xu Ying (played by Choi Yeo-jin), who struggles with tinnitus and dizziness. These symptoms, coupled with her status as a non-regular employee and family issues, make it very difficult for her to work in an office on the 42nd floor. Although she enjoys a sweet office romance with the popular Jin-soo (played by Ryu Tae-woo), this relationship is also precariously balanced.
