The pop diva ANNA is kidnapped by a mysterious person, and the kidnapper named JASH shockingly posts snippets of ANNA's abuse online, sparking widespread discussion throughout the city. However, JASH takes no further action, leaving the police at a loss, with special operations team leader ROY (played by Wong Ho-Hei) under immense pressure. A week after the incident, JASH finally contacts the police, and the objective is not a huge ransom. The lead points to a retired inspector, NAI WOO (played by Andy Hui), who has left the police force for some time and previously specialized in investigating major kidnapping cases and psychopathic criminals. During the investigation, WOO discovers that on the day ANNA was kidnapped, a woman named SHANA (played by Zhang Shen-Yue), who claims to have psychic powers, called a radio station's paranormal program to warn ANNA, and then called again to predict that comedy king LAM FUN and the enraged cop XI will be kidnapped...
