After graduating from the University of Tokyo, Yoshii Sakura (played by Koshimizu Nooka) returns to her hometown to work as a consultant at the local library. She experiences ideological conflicts with her colleagues and boss. One day, an old lady named Ashitaka Reiko (played by Kagawa Kyoko) comes to the library and shows Sakura an old photograph. Since Sakura is skilled at map inquiries, she decides to accompany Reiko to find the location in the photo. With Reiko’s guidance, Sakura begins to search for clues related to the photograph at various places. Through this process, Sakura gradually feels her value in this job; she helps Reiko regain her memories through the photograph and discovers her own passion for helping others. Reiko’s presence awakens Sakura’s memories of her grandmother, and she starts to have the idea of doing something for Reiko. They pursue the memories in the photograph together, establishing an emotional bond and becoming friends.
