Haruma Miura wholeheartedly stars in the film "Tenkaisha," which tells the original story of the little-known great man, Yutaka Gadai. From the turbulent Bakumatsu period to the early Meiji era, Yutaka Gadai, a man who worked tirelessly for Japan's future, possessed both the spirit of a samurai and the talent of a businessman. From a samurai of the Satsuma clan to a government official of the Meiji government, he became an industrialist and laid the foundation for the commercial city of Osaka that we know today. Haruma Miura portrays the overwhelming enthusiasm, bold ideas, and action-oriented yet calm and gentle Yutaka Gadai. Although he achieved accomplishments that earned him the reputation of "the Shibusawa Eiichi of the East and the Gadai of the West," he has long been overlooked in history. In recent years, through the research of many, his true value has been re-evaluated. "No need for a name, just moving towards the future..." His ambition and passion, relentlessly pursuing great goals, have been liberated in this timeless present. The project for this film began in 2013. In order to pass on Gadai's "thoughts" and "aspirations" to the next generation, the production commander Minoru Hirota led the civic initiative "The Gadai Project" to bring this to film. Additionally, the screenwriter Yukiko Komatsu and director Mitsushige Tanaka have collaborated on acclaimed works such as "Ask Rikyū" and "The Maritime Disaster 1890." An original story emerged from the complex historical background and numerous related characters, aiming to reflect the grand scale of Yutaka Gadai in modern times.
