The son of the Hang family, Hang Jingfeng (played by Gao Hao), falls in love with Jiang Jiayuan (played by Dong Jie), the daughter of the Jiang family. However, both families are renowned textile merchants in Hangzhou and are competitors. As a result, Hang Jingfeng can only conceal his feelings for Jiang Jiayuan in his heart.
