Da B (played by Li Xiu Xian) is involved in smuggling diamonds in Taiwan. The local gang attempts to force Da B into drug involvement, leading him to reconsider his choices, and he, along with his partner A Kun, returns to Hong Kong after three years. Da B's arrival brings mixed feelings to his mother and younger brother Jia Hua (played by Aaron Kwok); his devout mother worries about Da B's underworld habits, but the family finally reconciles and moves into the new home purchased by Da B.
