Fat Cat (played by Zheng Zeshi) is moderately intellectually disabled due to a condition he developed later in life, but he is full of hope for life. Si Lu Xiang (played by Li Yao Xiang) is a young man with spasms who has been mocked since childhood, leading to a very reclusive and irritable personality. Bai Xue Xian (played by Zhong Xin Tong) became blind due to an eye illness. The three meet by chance, and perhaps because they share similar experiences, they soon become friends who care for each other. They share their dreams, with Si Lu Xiang and Bai Xue Xian lacking confidence in themselves and having little hope of achieving their ideals, but the pure-hearted Fat Cat often encourages everyone to believe in the future and to work hard towards their goals.
