Badri (played by Varun Dhawan) is a wealthy heir born with a silver spoon, and he is lucky enough to enjoy a privileged life that some may never experience. Badri has always believed he is an incredibly charming man, and no woman can escape the web of his romantic pursuits, until one day, a woman named Vaidehi (played by Alia Bhatt) enters his life. Vaidehi is a very independent woman who has always aspired to be a pilot. She firmly believes that her future should be created by her own hands and does not wish to take advantage of men in any way. Thus, these two individuals, born into very different circumstances and with contrasting personalities, find themselves together by the whims of fate. To maintain their relationship, they both must give up some of the beliefs they once held as very important in their lives.
