Due to a period of frequent crimes involving women, the Public Security Bureau of Andong City decided to establish a Women's Special Case Group specifically to handle such cases. Former female detective Lu Jie was appointed as the team leader, along with retired female SWAT officer Zhao Xinyu, newly graduated fashion girl Zhou Feifei, and computer expert Luo Hao. The personalities of these four individuals were vastly different, leading to discord from the very beginning. In the process of capturing drug dealers, Lu Jie's husband Sun Gang tragically sacrificed his life, with the murderer still on the loose. Overwhelmed by grief, Lu Jie vowed to bring the killer to justice. The head of the criminal police team, Guo Xiaodong, led the establishment of the "122 Special Case Group" to investigate the case. However, Lu Jie lost control of her emotions, making one blunder after another, prompting Guo Xiaodong to order her to refrain from intervening in the case, which left Lu Jie frustrated. The first case handed over to the Women's Special Case Group was about extortion involving lewd photos of a host. During the investigation, it was discovered that the female lead of the photos was Jingjing, a hostess at the Kailamen nightclub, which was an important clue in the "122 case." Lu Jie used this as an excuse to intrude into the investigation of Kailamen. Zhou Feifei leveraged human flesh search to locate Jingjing and subsequently lured and captured the suspect in the extortion case, Tian Zhuzhi. Yet, they discovered that a hacker was taking advantage of the situation to extort dozens of people, acquiring a huge amount of illicit funds. This hacker had formidable counter-detection capabilities, making it impossible to catch him. Through surveillance footage, Lu Jie noticed that this hacker bore a striking resemblance to the suspect who assassinated Sun Gang, likely being the same person. What connection could there be between these two cases? The series of extortion cases involved Kailamen, leading customers to believe that the nightclub was secretly photographing guests and extorting them, resulting in a significant drop in business. Sun Gang's brother, Sun Tie, sought revenge for his brother by going undercover as a security guard at Kailamen. Owner Chen Jinhai coaxed Guo Xiaodong to come sing and bathe at Kailamen, hoping he would become his shield. Lu Jie mistakenly believed that Guo Xiaodong was engaging in corruption and dispatched people to monitor him, leading to continuous conflicts and skirmishes between the two. Sun Tie located the fugitive informant Qizi from the "122 case," but Qizi was killed by someone who was one step ahead, using the same method as the assassin of Sun Gang. Chen Jinhai's fingerprints were found at the scene. Sensing his precarious situation, Chen Jinhai decided to take drastic measures and clear out his stock of drugs. During the delivery, Guo Xiaodong and the criminal police swooped in, resulting in an intense battle between police and criminals, with Chen Jinhai falling to his death and Lu Jie getting injured. In Chen Jinhai's home, the weapon used in the "122" case was discovered, leading the police to close the case. After this life-and-death struggle, the misunderstanding between Guo Xiaodong and Lu Jie was resolved. It turned out that Guo Xiaodong had intentionally allowed himself to be lured by Chen Jinhai, causing him to lower his guard, which led to Chen Jinhai's misjudgment and subsequent capture. However, Lu Jie believed that the assassin was not Chen Jinhai but rather that someone was framing him, so she decided to continue her investigations. Over time, the four members of the Women's Special Case Group matured through their ups and downs, forming a highly combat-ready team. Kailamen was acquired by Wang Langao, the owner of Fenghua Entertainment City. Sun Tie continued to work undercover at Kailamen and discovered that Wang Langao was secretly engaged in the drug trade. This Wang Langao was also the boyfriend of Lu Jie's sister, Lu Jing. Lu Jie went to warn Lu Jing, but Lu Jing, infatuated with love, ignored her sister's warning. Luo Hao developed feelings for Zhou Feifei, but Zhou Feifei was infatuated with Guo Xiaodong. Guo Xiaodong felt that the two were too different to be together. Lu Jie introduced her friend Qiao Manni to him; Qiao Manni was the assistant manager of Jiuding Group and a perfect woman who was particularly fond of police, falling for Guo Xiaodong at first sight. Sun Tie discovered the suspect—a tall and lanky assassin—at Kailamen. Lu Jie followed him and unexpectedly uncovered an underground drug production line. When Lu Jie called for backup to conduct a raid, the underground factory had already been completely destroyed by fire. This factory was a defunct pharmaceutical plant of Jiuding Group. Lu Jie demanded a thorough investigation of Jiuding Group, but Guo Xiaodong stated that the group was a benchmark enterprise in the city with strong connections, and without solid evidence, it could not be acted against. The destruction of the underground factory caused significant losses for Wang Langao, leading him to plot against Lu Jie. He ordered his subordinate, Xiong San, to kidnap Lu Jie's child, Miao Miao, and demanded a ransom of five hundred thousand. Unable to raise that much money, Lu Jing borrowed the money from Wang Langao. Lu Jie went alone to exchange the money for her child, but unexpectedly fell into an enemy ambush. Lu Jie was severely injured, and Guo Xiaodong arrived just in time to rescue her with his team. Guo Xiaodong took great care of Lu Jie, causing dissatisfaction from Qiao Manni, who pointed out bluntly that Guo Xiaodong's affections were for Lu Jie. Wang Langao sent an anonymous letter to the disciplinary committee, accusing Lu Jie of soliciting a bribe of five hundred thousand, leading to an investigation that resulted in Lu Jie's suspension. Guo Xiaodong offered Lu Jie meticulous care, and their hearts gradually drew closer. While organizing old belongings at home, Lu Jie accidentally discovered clues left by Sun Gang prior to his death. Based on this clue, the Women's Special Case Group launched a comprehensive investigation into Jiuding Group, Wang Langao, and Qiao Manni, finally revealing a long-buried secret: Qiao Manni and Wang Langao were underground lovers conducting criminal activities, and Sun Gang was silenced because he discovered their intentions. Everything was ready, just waiting for the net to be cast. Wang Langao could not contain himself any longer and engaged in a large drug transaction. With Sun Tie's cooperation, the police surrounded the transaction site, arresting the tall and lanky Raymond and Qiao Manni, while Wang Langao escaped. Faced with the evidence, Qiao Manni confessed to all her crimes, revealing that she was the leader of the drug trafficking gang in Andong City, and Wang Langao and Raymond were her right-hand men. Chen Jinhai of Kailamen was once her subordinate, but later he attempted to break free and achieve independence, so Qiao Manni set a trap to bring down Kailamen, allowing Wang Langao to take over the drug market. When the dust settled, Sun Tie and his lover held a wedding. At that moment, Wang Langao suddenly appeared, strapped with explosives, took Lu Jing hostage, and demanded the police release Qiao Manni. Sun Tie bravely saved Lu Jing, dying with Wang Langao. In the end, Guo Xiaodong and Lu Jie ended up together.
