Julianne Moore will star in the new version of Susanne Bier's work [After the Wedding]. This new film is directed by Bart Freundlich, the husband of Julianne Moore, and the story will be restructured to take place in New York with two female leads (the original featured two male leads, Mads Mikkelsen and Rufus Sewell [doge]). Moore will play Theresa Yang, a successful media mogul whose life changes unexpectedly after meeting Isabel. Isabel runs an orphanage in Kolkata, India, and comes to America in search of a donor. Cornerstone Films will present this project at the European Film Market of the Berlin Film Festival and will commence production this spring.
