The kind-hearted and optimistic middle-aged farmer Ju Guangda (played by Fan Ming) is one of the millions of migrant workers in China. To improve his life and allow his son to focus on his studies and achieve success, he works diligently and tirelessly outside. Although he has saved a considerable amount of money, how many can truly understand the bitterness behind it? Guangda's son, Shuangyuan (played by Chen Sicheng), has failed the college entrance examination for three consecutive years. Knowing the difficulties of working in the city, Guangda strictly forbids his son from taking this hard path. However, disappointed with his studies, Shuangyuan secretly boards a train to the county.
