After many years of marriage, Jiachang (played by Xu Guanjie) and Zhengnan (played by Zheng Wenyang) have a son and a daughter. After separating, they each raise one child. Soon, both Jiachang and Zhengnan find new lovers, while their two children hope for their parents to reconcile. They devise schemes to tease their parents' new partners, hoping to drive them away. However, every time Jiachang and Zhengnan meet, they leave in anger, ultimately deciding to divorce.
