Misaki (portrayed by Hiromi Nagasaku) has had a strong interest in coffee since childhood. As she grew up, she turned her passion into a career, becoming a professional coffee bean roaster. Misaki grew up in a broken family; her father left one day without a word, and the absence of paternal love has always been a source of pain for her. Finally, she decides to leave the big city and return to her hometown on the Noto Peninsula, transforming a dilapidated small cabin into a café. While pursuing her beloved coffee business, she waits for her father's return. Eventually, her father does not show up for a long time, and two lovely yet pitiable children catch Misaki's attention. These children are raised by their mother, but she is often away from home, leaving instant noodles behind in a rush to go to work. Gradually, Misaki begins to take on the role of caregiver and protector for the children.
