An's father was a search and rescue dog trainer. When An was still young, her father unfortunately passed away, but An inherited her father's wish and vowed to become an excellent trainer like him. One day, An encountered a homeless Labrador Retriever and decided to take it in, naming it Little Powder Bean. However, the puppy was too weak to become a search and rescue dog. Undeterred, An began to train Little Powder Bean. As time went by, although Little Powder Bean grew day by day, its skills showed no improvement; it could not overcome obstacles, could not sniff scents, and sometimes ignored An's commands entirely. One day, Little Powder Bean suddenly fainted, revealing that the intense training had exhausted its stamina. It was then that An began to realize that perhaps Little Powder Bean would be much happier as a pet than as a search and rescue dog.
