In the late Qing Dynasty, Zhu De, who graduated from the Yunnan Military Academy, followed General Cai E to participate in the wars for national protection against Yuan Shikai, showcasing his outstanding military command skills and gradually becoming a renowned national defense general. However, after the death of his friend General Cai E and the loss of comrades and family members in the war, he became disheartened by the chaos of warlords.
