This drama tells the story of Comrade Liu Shaoqi's life, navigating the "four boundaries" of county towns, provincial towns, imperial cities, and national gates, in search of the "truth from facts" and the "eight-character guiding principle." It is a story of his unwavering pursuit of the truth for national salvation and the construction of a new China! In 1921, Liu Shaoqi joined the Communist Party at the Oriental University in Moscow. A year later, he returned home after his studies, leading the "Anyuan Road and Mining General Strike." As the situation of the Great Revolution suddenly reversed, Liu Shaoqi personally went to the white area to oversee aftermath work in perilous circumstances. During the wartime, Liu Shaoqi entered the central leadership core and was elected Vice Chairman of the Central People's Government after the founding of the country, playing an important role in formulating national policies in politics, economy, culture, education, and foreign affairs.
