At the end of the Ming Dynasty during the Jiajing era, the Jinyiwei He Ying (played by Donnie Yen) is tasked with transporting the priceless treasure "Time-Space Golden Ball" back from India. He is wholeheartedly devoted to the court but unexpectedly faces an ambush from his brothers. The leader, Yuan Long (played by Simon Yam), arrives with Nie Hu (played by Yu Kang) and Sa Mao (played by Wang Baoqiang) to capture him, aiming to resolve a wrongful case against He Ying. As the four brothers fight, an earthquake suddenly strikes, and a massive avalanche buries them. However, when He Ying wakes up, he discovers that he has ended up in Hong Kong 400 years later. Completely oblivious to modern society, he encounters nightclub girl Xiao Mei (played by Huang Shengyi), leading to many comedic mishaps. With Xiao Mei's help, He Ying learns to use high-tech products and gradually transforms into a modern urban man. Just as their relationship begins to blossom, the "Jinyiwei Trio" also travels to the modern world to continue their mission, while the confused police are in pursuit of He Ying, the "supernatural person". He Ying faces the greatest challenge in 400 years. This film is adapted and remade from the 1989 movie "The Incredible Frozen Hero", starring Yuen Biao, Maggie Cheung, and Yuen Wah, and directed by Ho Yat-Liang. It marks Wang Baoqiang's first appearance in a martial arts film.
