Cheung Pak-lun was originally a good student at the police academy, assigned to be an undercover agent for four years, and is now returning to his original police school for training. He is very friendly with his classmates, including Chiu Ka-pao. Chiu Ka-pao's shop is disrupted by the triads, and Ka-pao gets injured. Pak-lun leads his classmates to punish the triad members severely. This action violates school rules, and instructor Lin Sir, not wanting them to be expelled, takes the blame for them, resulting in his early retirement. Pak-lun and the others feel very guilty. After Lin Sir's retirement, he is killed by the Four Great Kings gang, leading to deep anger and sorrow among Pak-lun and his friends.
