In the eyes of the employees, the HR Director Taro Onizuka (played by Ren Osugi) is a strict and unyielding man. The feelings towards this iron-faced boss are more about fear than respect, and some even take various opportunities to play prank on Onizuka, who silently bears these slanders. One day, by chance, Onizuka encounters a cat. The cat's adorable demeanor touches Onizuka's heart, but remembering that he had firmly rejected his daughter's request to adopt a cat not long ago, he gives up the idea of bringing the cat home. Helpless, Onizuka can only keep the cat in the employee dormitory, where the warm stories that unfold in this small space become a secret shared between Onizuka and the cat. As Onizuka's colleagues and family discover, this former "robot" gradually becomes gentler.
