Peter (played by Frederick Lau) and a girl named Lisbeth (played by Henriette Confurius) are a deeply loving couple. However, Lisbeth is a wealthy heiress, while Peter is a poor nobody, and their relationship naturally faces strong opposition from Lisbeth's family. In order to acquire a large fortune in a short time, Peter decides to make a deal with the devil, Michael (played by Moritz Bleibtreu), trading his true heart for wealth.
