Once upon a time, giants from the clouds relied on magic beanstalks to descend to the earth. They rampaged, devoured humans, and brought endless misfortune. Thanks to the brave and clever King Eric, the giants were driven back to their homeland, and the legend of the giants spread far and wide. Jack (Nicholas Hoult), a poor young man deeply fascinated by the stories of giants since childhood, went to the city to buy a horse and inadvertently encountered a monk being pursued by the royal guards. In a moment of panic, he swapped his horse for the monk's beanstalk. As night fell, a torrential rain began, and Princess Isabelle (Eleanor Tomlinson), unwilling to risk her lifelong happiness with another, escaped amidst the chaos and sought shelter in Jack's home. Just as they were chatting, the soaked beanstalk suddenly sprouted, growing wildly towards the sky and taking the trapped princess up to the clouds. To retrieve the princess, Jack willingly joined the rescue team organized by the king, only to face the giants from the well-known legends...
