Wang Xiaomo (played by Sun Yizhou) is a wealthy young man born with a silver spoon in his mouth. At a young age, he was sent abroad to study art and design. After returning with a degree, Wang Xiaomo joined a company, hoping to carve out a niche for himself in his role. However, he did not expect to be assigned to work alongside Lao Laomo (played by Li Baotian), an eccentric and strict old-timer, primarily tasked with taking care of his daily needs.
Lao Laomo has a quirky and harsh personality, often making things difficult for Wang Xiaomo. Nevertheless, as they spend time together, Wang Xiaomo discovers that beneath Lao Laomo's cold exterior lies a warm-hearted soul. Lao Laomo, in turn, develops a sense of trust in the patient and kind Wang Xiaomo. Wang Xiaomo is intensely curious about Lao Laomo's past, and as the layers are peeled back, the love story between Lao Laomo and technician Xue Yalan (played by Chen Qiaoen) gradually comes to light.
