In a remote, desolate town far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the economy is in decline and hope is bleak. Those with the means to leave begin to depart, abandoning the home that once built beautiful dreams, leaving behind only deep despair and endless darkness. Single mother Billy (Christina Hendricks) lives in a corner of the town with her two sons, Bones (Iain De Caestecker) and Frankie (Landyn Stewart). Due to overdue loans, Billy's family faces an unprecedented crisis, with their home at risk of being demolished. To help make ends meet, Bones breaks into abandoned buildings to steal copper and sell it for money, but then he faces threats from local bullies.
