During the Anti-Japanese War, the Japanese invaded our country, and Guangzhou fell. Young student Tan Tianhua fled to Macau with his parents for refuge, but on the way, his father and 26 other anti-Japanese fighters were killed by the Japanese invader Watanabe David and his colluding "Double-headed Eagle" gang led by Qian Yunxiang, as well as the "Dragon Gate Gang" under Sha Libiao. After being rescued by the thug Hong Kun, Tan Tianhua and his mother managed to escape to Macau. However, Hong Kun repeatedly extorted them and ultimately raped Tan's mother, who died by hanging in despair.  Tan Tianhua, filled with rage and grief, struck the murderer with a shovel at the cemetery and was subsequently arrested. His beloved classmate He Li sold herself to the Macau gambling lord Sha Libiao to raise money for his release. Journalists from the Macau Daily, including Ye Yuanfeng, police officer Zheng Baoluo, and chief lawyer Cheng Boqi, attempted to save him, resulting in the commutation of Tan Tianhua's death sentence. However, due to Sha Libiao's secret collusion with the underworld, Ah Hua was sentenced to hard labor at the infamous "Death Beach"—Black Rock Mountain, while his lover Amei suffered a tragic fate, also caused by Hong Kun and the smiling monk Shao Ding, leading her family to ruin, and Amei was sold to a brothel where she was brutally mistreated.  Tan Tianhua survived against the odds at "Death Beach," where he met the hidden gang leader "Big Dragon Head" on Black Rock Mountain and received help from the chivalrous woman Qiongxiang. He escaped assassination attempts from Sha Libiao's men, dodged the deadly threat of a typhoon, and successfully fled to Hong Kong. There, he reunited with the former members of the Dragon Gate Gang and was crowned as the new leader. He returned to Macau disguised as a wealthy businessman. Tan Tianhua found Amei, but she died in his arms. Classmate He Li was stuck in a pit of despair, which drove Tan Tianhua to seek revenge at all costs. He ruthlessly exploited the dice girl Dai Fangting, resulting in her mother’s tragic death, utilized the conflicts and ties within the underworld, took advantage of the beautiful Japanese spy Wei Jiali, and manipulated Macau's laws and public opinion. After numerous battles and verbal confrontations, Ah Hua defeated Sha Libiao, thwarted the Japanese conspiracy, and became a legendary figure as the king of gambling in Macau.
