The film's Hebrew title "Kirot" means "walls," which signifies the communication between the two female protagonists who start as strangers, separated by walls, until they ultimately come together. One seeks to escape the control of the local gang to reunite with her young daughter in Russia, while the other fights against her severely abusive husband. The two women battle for their ideals and survival, resembling a new version of "Thelma & Louise." Behind the Scenes This film is a collaboration between Israel, France, and the United States, primarily featuring dialogue in English, with Hebrew and Russian included. Directed by Israeli director Danny Lerner, a graduate of the film department at Tel Aviv University, he made his debut with "Nightmare" in 2005. His works are filled with complex social elements and deep psychological portrayals, making him a standout among the new generation of Israeli directors, and he has begun to gain recognition on the international film stage. "Dangerous Walls" is his second film.
