The film's Hebrew title "Kirot" means "walls," which signifies the communication between the two female protagonists who start as strangers, separated by walls, until they ultimately come together. One seeks to escape the control of the local gang to reunite with her young daughter in Russia, while the other fights against her severely abusive husband. The two women battle for their ideals and survival, resembling a new version of "Thelma & Louise."
