Chuck (Sam Rockwell) is a young man full of wild ideas but seemingly useless, who by chance becomes a wildly popular television producer. Jim (George Clooney), a member of the CIA, values Chuck's identity and fame; he approaches Chuck hoping he can carry out a dangerous and vital assassination mission. Chuck agrees to Jim's request.
