When Margot sees her future brother-in-law Malcolm (played by Jack Black), she knows her suspicions were correct; she realizes that this unemployed drifter is not worthy of her sister. Pauline is very pleased with her sister's arrival. Margot, who is usually sharp-tongued, seems to bring a lot of trouble to Pauline's family. Even Pauline's daughter dislikes this aunt. Margot does not want her son to get involved with her lover Dick's daughter; she loves her son dearly. However, she is caught between her husband and Dick, unable to choose. Margot discovers a secret between Malcolm and Dick's daughter and wants to tell her sister.
