During the Anti-Japanese War, in a certain area of North China. An explosion suddenly occurred at a weapons factory of our Eighth Route Army. Minister Zhou of the Security Department (played by Pu Ke) concluded that it was the enemy's doing and urgently ordered Chief Wang of the reconnaissance department (played by Pang Xueqin) to investigate immediately, while also sending troops to search and track. During the search, Chief Wang discovered a corpse and two knives near an ancient temple. Minister Zhou believed there was something significant in the temple, so he arranged for Chief Wang to take Huzi (played by Li Xida) into the temple under the pretext of taking care of his health.
