Sunflower is a sports reporter who, during an interview at a boxing match, is accidentally injured by the champion boxer Tiger Dog. Her cousin Ah Xiu learns about this and persuades her to pretend to be paralyzed in order to claim insurance money. The insurance company is highly suspicious and sends someone to conduct an undercover investigation. Meanwhile, feeling guilty, Tiger Dog gives up boxing and moves in to take care of Sunflower's daily life. Sunflower, unable to deceive Tiger Dog, tries to motivate him to return to the ring. Ah Xiu secretly colludes with a gambling syndicate to trick Tiger Dog into throwing matches. When Sunflower sees Tiger Dog knocked down in the ring, she is enraged and reveals the truth.
