Tang Bohu (Stephen Chow) is the best of the Four Talents of Jiangnan, yet he has unspeakable hardships. Prince Ning wants Tang Bohu to help plot a rebellion, so Tang Bohu has to use his internal skills to change his pulse, convincing everyone that he is near death. His mother complains that he should not expose his skills, as their family has been hunted by enemies since that time. While traveling with friends, Tang Bohu meets the beautiful Qiu Xiang and falls in love at first sight, deciding to work at the Hua Mansion as a servant to pursue her, and he is given the name Hua An.
