Xiaomi (played by Wen Qi) works in a hotel located in a scenic area. One day, while on duty, a man comes in with two girls who look like elementary school students to check into a room. Despite her concerns, Xiaomi, thinking that it’s better to avoid trouble, opens two rooms for them. Later, she sees on the surveillance footage the man entering the girls' rooms under coercive circumstances and, feeling increasingly uneasy, records the scene with her phone. The two girls are named Meng Xiaowen (played by Zhou Meijun) and Zhang Xinxin (played by Jiang Xinyue), and the man is their "sugar daddy." After the incident comes to light, Xiaowen's mother calls the police and seeks the help of lawyer Hao Jie (played by Shi Ke), hoping that the law can deliver justice for them. However, things do not go as expected; the lack of evidence makes it difficult to convict the suspect, and the most crucial piece of evidence is in Xiaomi's hands.
