Elementary school "liar" No. 1 (Li Guanyi) and No. 2 (Pan Qinyu) spend all their time together as best friends. Both of their families are incomplete; No. 1's mother is missing and his father (Ma Zhixiang) is mentally unstable, while No. 2 lives with his "selfish, unloving" grandmother (Mei Fang) and dislikes his uncle, who sends a crying baby sister for the grandmother to take care of.
