Directed by Jan Komasa, this film tells the story of 20-year-old Daniel who undergoes a spiritual transformation while living in a youth detention center. He aspires to become a priest, but his criminal record makes his dream impossible. When he is sent to work in a carpenter's shop in a small town, he disguises himself as a priest and inadvertently takes over a parish. The arrival of a young, charismatic preacher in a community recently affected by tragedy provides Daniel with endless opportunities.
