The Hollywood live-action film "Detective Pikachu" (tentative title) tells the story of Tim Goodman (played by Justice Smith) who comes to Ryme City in search of his missing father. There, he unexpectedly meets his father's former Pokémon partner, Detective Pikachu, and is astonished to find that he is the only human who can understand Pikachu's speech.
