The story takes place at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, when Chaoyang City is divided by the Ojiang River. The local people, who should be like brothers living close to each other, have developed deep resentments due to various conflicts and misunderstandings, which gradually escalate to violent confrontations. The great monk Master Dafeng (played by Xu Haishan) cannot bear to see sentient beings kill one another and remain entangled in disputes. Xiao Li quickly dispels the rumors and is deeply moved by the monk's good deeds. Just then, mysterious symbols, strange actions by Koreans, and an ancient mirror case emerge in succession, suggesting that some conspiracy is secretly unfolding...
