In a contemporary city, Caiwei and her husband Jiang Jinyu have a son and a daughter. Their twelve-year-old son, Xiaoqiang, has a mild intellectual disability, and their six-year-old daughter, Xiaoya, is healthy. Jiang Jinyu passes away due to a car accident, leaving Caiwei to raise their two children alone.
