Feng Yifei (Liu Ximing) was born into a hunter family in the village. Ten years ago, his father went missing while hunting leopards in the mountains, and his brother Feng Yile (Luo Jialiang), having witnessed the tragedy, became blind. From then on, Yifei relied on his mother, brother, and sister Feng Yulian (Wang Minming) for survival, gathering herbs for a living. Yifei also befriended a group of reclusive masters in the village and learned martial arts. One day, while delivering medicine on behalf of his mother to the city, he met the wealthy merchant's daughter Tang Jian'er (Zhou Huimin), and their initial misunderstandings turned into a romance.
