Chicago welcomes another sunny day, and the school-skipping expert Ferris (Matthew Broderick) certainly won't choose a boring test for this day. He fakes an illness to deceive his parents, making his sister Jeanie at school ironically jealous. Ferris enlists the help of his friend Cameron (Alan Ruck), and the two of them trick the dean, Rooney, driving Cameron's father's prized Ferrari to take Ferris's girlfriend Sloane out of school for a joyride. Ferris's skilled phone scams, coordinated with Cameron and Sloane, leave everyone hilariously confused, even inspiring students to launch a fundraiser for Ferris's so-called surgery. Unable to tolerate Ferris’s repeated deceptions, Rooney goes undercover outside of school hoping to catch Ferris in the act, while Ferris and his two friends embark on an adventure to hide their identities while wandering around the city...
