13-year-old Jenna (played by Jennifer Garner) is filled with dreams of the adult world. She yearns to exude feminine charm, to date her dream boy, and to gain the affection of boys. But all of this is just her daydream; in reality, Jenna seems to lack appeal among boy classmates and is teased by her friends. After a big fight with her neighbor, Matt (played by Mark Ruffalo), Jenna is completely fed up with her dull childhood and wants to grow up fast! Unexpectedly, Jenna's dream comes true. The next day, she finds herself transformed into a 30-year-old woman with a decent job and a good income, starting a new chapter in her life.
