This film tells the "struggle journey" of two young men trying to escape from a mental hospital. The protagonist, Lee Soo-ming (played by Jin-gu Yeo), suffers from schizophrenia due to guilt over his mother's suicide, and is later sent to a mental hospital by his biological father. He transfers between hospitals multiple times and has several applications for discharge, all of which are refused for various reasons. Faced with a father who never visits, the cold management of the hospital, and the temptation of "freedom" from his friend Seong-min (played by Min-gi Lee) in the same hospital, will Soo-ming be able to leave the hospital? This film is adapted from the original work of Jeong Yu-jing (phonetic), which won the 5th Korean World Literature Award in 2009.
