On the eve of the "July 7 Incident," the Japanese army initiated the "杉计划" to launch a full-scale invasion of China, attempting to steal the currency printing templates from the Central Mint to produce counterfeit currency and undermine China's economy. A Japanese spy in China, Liu Tiesheng, was in charge of implementing this operation. Due to a plane crash, the templates fell into the Huangpu River during the transfer, and the only one able to recover them was the Frog Girl who lived by the riverbank, the daughter of the leader of a boatmen's gang. Liu Tiesheng resorted to all kinds of schemes to try and seize the submerged currency templates from the riverbed through the Frog Girl. To protect the templates from falling into the hands of the Japanese devils, a life-and-death struggle ensued between the Frog Girl and Liu Tiesheng. Despite several attempts to fight for the printing templates, they were ultimately taken and sent to the Japanese flagship "Chūyū." The Frog Girl, along with her beloved man, Zhang Chong, propelled a torpedo in the water, vowing to perish together with the Japanese ship. In a thunderous explosion over the Huangpu River, the legendary and glorious life of the Frog Girl was reflected.
