This is a love epic confronting life and death, a tribute to the flesh-and-blood devotion between a pair of half-sisters, and a moving ode to a young mother's great love expressed through her life. The elder sister suffers from leukemia, and the younger sister, abandoned by their father since childhood, holds no grudges and donates her bone marrow. The elder sister is saved, but her lover falls in love with the younger sister.
