Ye Xinrong (played by Gigi Leung) is suddenly abandoned by her boyfriend of seven years, transforming from an engaged woman into a leftover woman with no hope of marriage. By chance, she meets her boss’s driver, Gu Xuren (played by Ronald Cheng). Unbeknownst to her, Gu Xuren is actually a legitimate Hong Kong boss who has to switch identities with his driver, Guan Ren (played by Chapman To), due to having too many enemies. Shedding the persona of a wealthy young master, Gu Xuren finds true feelings with Rongrong, and through their identity swap, Guan Ren meets Rongrong's best friend, Nikki (played by Xie Na). They fall for each other at first sight, but Nikki worries about workplace sexual harassment from her boss and is on guard, leading to a series of humorous situations. Meanwhile, Gu Xuren and Rongrong gradually fall in love while helping Guan Ren pursue Nikki. Gu Xuren promotes Rongrong to a high-level position in Hong Kong. Rongrong experiences a dreamy journey filled with private jets, luxury cars, designer watches and clothes, and high-society socializing, making everything feel surreal. When Gu Xuren musters the courage to reveal his true identity and confess his love, Rongrong feels all his words are insincere and rejects him. However, determined to turn over a new leaf, Gu Xuren is unwilling to let go, and even though Rongrong is no longer by his side, he continues to uphold their love promise…
